New Firmware Update for the Leica M9
A new M9 firmware - version 1.162 - is now available for you to download.
Leica Camera AG has announced a new firmware update for the Leica M9. The firmware has been tested by users of the L-Camera Forum and the final release can now be downloaded from the M9-page
of our web site via the link "UPDATES". As well as installation
instructions, you will also find there more information about the new
version.
The new firmware specifically improves photography with wide-angle-lenses. In critical shooting situations its newly developed colour calibration minimizes chromatic deviations across the image, from the centre to the corner.
